Gymnastics at the 2024 Olympics: Simone Biles and Brody Malone Headline US Team
The United States will be looking to reclaim the gold medal in women's gymnastics at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Seven-time Olympic medalist Simone Biles and 2022 World horizontal bar champion Brody Malone headline the field for the 2024 US Gymnastics Championships, which will be held from August 17-20 at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
Biles, who has won 32 Olympic and World Championship medals, is the most decorated gymnast in American history. She is also the reigning Olympic champion in the all-around, floor exercise, and balance beam.
Malone, who won the gold medal on the horizontal bar at the 2022 World Championships, is one of the rising stars in the US men's gymnastics program. He is the first American man to win a world title on the horizontal bar since 2003.
The US team will be looking to improve on its performance at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, where the women's team won a silver medal and the men's team finished fourth.
